Rosendahl recently appeared at Short Lane Ice Cream Company in Gloucester, Virginia for a book signing for her new novel 'Bitter Tastes', a juvenile mystery. Rosendahl is currently on a delicious book signing tour across Virginia this summer.
Rosendahl couldn't believe it when she was told that her novel had a namesake already. Owners of Short Lane Ice Cream Company unveiled the new flavor called Mystery Mint Twist.
This new flavor tastes like lemon custard with mint flavor and the author herself could not wait to taste it.
V.B. Rosendahl's new novel 'Bitter Tastes' is the first in the Kathy and Martha series where a pair of 12 year old sleuths pair up to solve a mystery of who murdered Janine. The sequel, Mudder, is expected to come out this winter season.
Rosendahl credits her success to persistence, often appearing at schools in and around her area, bookstores (even on Harry Potter release night) and of course at local festivals and ice cream shops. She has been featured in the Radio Disney event at Virginia Beach 'Move It To Motion', appeared on Television recently for a talk show as well as being featured on no less than four radio shows; Radio Disney, Glouster and another local area radio, not to mention her features in local newspapers. Just recently, she was offered a freelance writing position for the LA Times as a credit to her efforts
Rosendahl is now setting her cap higher and higher and is trying to secure a spot on the Rachel Ray show or even Oprah.
