Brockton, MA (PressExposure) August 15, 2008 -- Seniors are encouraged to visit the OCES booth during the Health Fair to learn more about valuable programs and services that the agency provides to elders throughout Plymouth county.

Nicole Welch, LCSW, Program Development Manager and Rochelle Sugarman, Caregiver Specialist for the Family Caregiver Support Program at OCES will be on hand to provide information and talk with seniors.

OCES offers a number of enhanced care and “aging in place” programs to better serve seniors, families and caregivers throughout the 23 communities they serve. The programs include Caring Homes and Enhanced Adult Family Care; Supportive Housing; Family Caregiver Support; Nutrition; Money Management; Protective Services; Home Care programs and more.

“This is a great opportunity for seniors to enjoy a day at the fair and learn more about the types of programs and services that are available to them,” noted Diana L. DiGiorgi, Executive Director of OCES.

People who are 65 years and older receive free admission to the fair on Senior Day and the gates open at noon.

OCES serves elders, their families and caregivers in the towns of Abington, Avon, Bridgewater, Brockton, Carver, Duxbury, East Bridgewater, Easton, Halifax, Hanover, Hanson, Kingston, Lakeville, Marshfield, Middleboro, Pembroke, Plymouth, Plympton, Rockland, Stoughton, Wareham, West Bridgewater and Whitman.
