Vote Early in Harris County

Kingwood, TX (PressExposure) October 21, 2010 -- Polling places have been very busy lately with Harris County residents who are taking advantage of early voting as of Monday, October 18, 2010. It's believed that the record early turnout is possibly due to the fire late last August that destroyed Haris County voting machines. Local election officials have been urging voters to head out early to avoid the long lines at the polls on election day, November 2, 2010.

The new Kingwood Branch Library is Kingwood's newest early voting location. The polls are open Wednesdays and Sundays, eve though the library itself is closed those days.

If you visit http://www.vote411.org, you can go through all the measures on the ballot and make your decisions at your leisure as to which way you want to vote, print it and bring it to the polls with you. This can help you save tons of time at the polls.
