Johannesburg, South Africa (PressExposure) July 24, 2010 -- First Car Rental, a member of the JSE listed CMH Group, has closed off its successful nationwide competition to win a Chevrolet Spark Lite over the World Cup, but due to the popularity of the videos submitted, has extended a separate voting for the best video submitted.

The Kick it with Connor Challenge competition was created to encourage customers, new and loyal, to interact with the First Car Rental brand by challenging the football skills of the First Car Rental mascot, Connor, the skilful, football-mad Scottish Terrier, by either uploading videos of their own pets displaying sporting kills, or by answering four Football First questions.

From all entries, First Car Rental received over 1500 Football First entries and multiple video entries of some amazingly sporty dogs, cats and birds, First Car Rental and Chevrolet management will randomly pick the winners for the brand new Chevrolet Spark Lite and the car rental weekends over the next week. All winners will be announced on 2 August 2010.
