WLCI New Delhi Students Visit to NDTV

Noida, India (PressExposure) January 05, 2012 -- The days of Hardcore News reporting have been challenged by the modern day Broadcast Invent of "News Programming". The mainstream audience does not demand the routines news with the flick of sensationalism in it.

It requires real and true to life stories wound up together in the thread of practical ethics and modern day outlook. In the wake of these modern Industry requirements the "Media" students of "Delhi SAINIK Farms" visited NDTV - NEW DELHI TELE VISION. The students participated as guest audience in the famous talk Show "Muquabala" anchored by Pankaj Pachuri.

The show was based on the debate and discussion on the hot burning political Topic of "Jan Lokpal Bill". The students got the opportunity to understand how a set is made and what a "LIVE STUDIO" is like. The spoke to the Set Designers and understood the concept of the Chroma Studio and Virtual Set.

Understanding the basics of set design and Camera operations in a multi Cam setup, they moved towards understanding the basics of "LIVE BROADCAST" done outdoor. Seeing the OB and understanding the basics of how the Up linking of the signal is operated via the satellite Transponders and how is that signal feed received at the MCR was very new to them.

Apart from the technical aspects they interacted with the people in a Channel who generate the content for the News and Program's. Though the visit was for four hours affair but it certainly gave the students a lot of exposure good for their industry work specialization.
