Peterborough, Canada (PressExposure) January 09, 2010 -- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Months like December and January may seem like an off time for a company like Peterboroughâs Water World Centre to celebrate its business, but in 2010 the pool supplies and indoor leisure products company will step into its 35th year of business.
The family operated business was started by Brian Healey in 1975 to provide inground pool installation and related construction services to residents of Peterborough and Northumberland Counties. Over successive decades, the company has expanded into a number of products and services and now encompasses both inground and above ground pools, a full range of pool supplies and accessories, and a full range of rec room equipment.
During cold Peterborough winters, Water World Centre concentrates on indoor exercise equipment, pool tables and supplies, darts, pre-built saunas and full spa setups, from hot tubs to gazebos. Thus, the company has evolved from a seasonal business to one thatâs active all year round.
Water World has always kept up with new developments in pool engineering and technology. In 2009 it took a major step forward and became the first area pool supplies company to transition from chlorine to safer alternatives. In 2010, the company expects to build and supply a number of safe, clean and chlorine free inground and above ground pools.
