Richmond, Kentucky (PressExposure) March 11, 2009 -- WealthBridge Connect announced today that, effective March 1, 2009, John P. (Jack) Kelly has joined WealthBridge Connect as Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Kelly was the CEO of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.
At WealthBridge Connect, Kelly will be responsible for senior-level management oversight and direction of this rapidly emerging eLearning, management training and executive coaching company. His duties will include strategic planning, marketing direction and development and other administrative and business issues.
âI am pleased to join WealthBridge Connect at this point in its history. Having been involved in various eLearning efforts for more than two decades, I believe WealthBridge is extremely well poised to be able to contribute significantly to the needs and results of its clients. This is also a particularly exciting time to be involved with the enormous potential of eLearning,â said Kelly.
âWhen Joel Anderson and I started WealthBridge Connect, we knew that one day we would need to bring on an experienced executive to guide our company. WealthBridge is a very sophisticated product with many revenue channels, and that requires a breadth and depth of experience that we knew might be challenging for both of us. Jack Kelly has it all. His corporate background, his work with the Olympic Festival committees, and his many years of experience running the Goodwill Games for Ted Turner has decided advantages for us. We are now ready to introduce WealthBridge to corporate America, and to take full advantage of our platform eLearning package and supportive consulting services,â said Dr. J. Gregory Gillum, Chief Learning Officer of WealthBridge Connect.
Kelly comes to this position after an almost four decade career in senior corporate and major event management. Following a corporate career as an officer of two major U.S. corporations, Tenneco and American General, Kelly embarked in 1985-86 on a new career managing major sporting events as the CEO of two U.S. Olympic Festivals (Houston, Minneapolis â St. Paul) and as the CEO of Turner Broadcastingâs Goodwill Games. Following this and prior to moving to Lexington, Kelly served as CEO of the Bowling Industry in the U.S., as CEO of the Greater Houston Sports Foundation and as the chair of USA Baseball. Kelly has a Bachelors Degree from Northeastern University in Boston and an MBA from Purdue University.
