Fremont, California (PressExposure) August 12, 2013 -- Description:
This webinar is about how to prepare for an OSHA inspection.
OSHA inspections are among the dreaded aspects of a facility. OSHA inspectors can haul up an organization if its regulatory requirements are not being met. Having said this, there are ways by which to discern the pattern in which OSHA works. This session will familiarize participants with this.
It will present the following important elements: 1. the ways in which OSHA inspections may be initiated; 2. the things a facility can or has to do to prevent the inspection before it starts, and 3. the ways in which it can manage the inspection while it is going on and afterwards, so that the negative results of an inspection -fines and penalties -can be reduced. Employers and employees who attend this webinar will get an understanding of all the important aspects of an OSHA inspection: the reasons behind inspections; how inspections can grow bigger and more aggressive, and the ways by which, by being prepared, OSHA inspections can be managed and the fines and penalties can be kept to a minimum.
Dr. Weinberg will cover the following areas during this session:
o Overview of the inspection process
o Ways to prevent inspections
o How inspections may be initiated
