Tempe, AZ (PressExposure) March 11, 2009 -- A new website, http://www.radarhunter.com is now available as an online resource for those who want information about the daily locations of photo radar, red light and mobile radar locations in seven U.S. states and the District of Columbia. The site also offers photo radar FAQs, red light camera studies, news links, and an optional free GPS pack for registered users who wish to download the information to Garmin®, Magellan® or Tom Tom® units. The site was developed by Tempe, Ariz., business students Ian Cooper and Logan Hill.
âWe wanted to do something in response to sudden stops and traffic problems caused when drivers responded to unexpected mobile photo radar units,â explained Cooper. âBy making this information readily available, we actually hope to contribute to increased safety on the roads.â
Site traffic has been brisk in RadarHunterâs first few weeks, averaging more than 150 visits per day. Information is currently posted and updated daily for locations in Arizona, California, Illinois, Nevada, Ohio, Texas, Washington State and Washington, D.C. Cooper Hill will continue to expand the site to include locations in additional states.
