White Composer And Trinidadian Singer Team Up To Help Church Who Needs Money

East Stroudsburg, PA (PressExposure) November 19, 2009 -- “Simple Christmas in the Country”

The Christmas holidays are upon us and this year a special gift awaits. On Friday and Saturday December 4th & 5th Trinidadian opera singer, Phillip Mentor along with Didion, Ted Satterwaite and other local musicians will be putting on a Christmas Concert called “A Simple Christmas in the Country”. This concert will feature sacred songs, spirituals and other holiday favorites that will benefit the restoration of the Mountainhome United Methodist Church.

The church is hoping to raise funds to repair the historic stained glass windows and make other necessary capital improvements. Along with these musicians the concert will spotlight “Ring of Love” from the Mountainhome Bell Choir. Also offering his talents, the concert will be conducted by Keith Herrmann, who is a well known TONY nominated composer and has worked on, New York Broadway Show called “CATS” since 1980.
