Akron, Ohio (PressExposure) April 07, 2011 -- While quite a few government agencies have been charged with trying to fix the centuries old difficulty of how to get rid of bed bugs, it appears their efforts are having very limited effects. Every state in the nation now has a bed bug infestation crisis of varying degrees And the numbers just keep growing. Ask any pest control company what the answer is and you are told 'There is no easy answer'
Having been the target of two bed bug infestations, Jenny Hill of Cleveland Ohio, knew that education was the key to stopping the alarming rise in the spread of bed bug infestations in the USA. The more she researched the issue, the more she became aware of the stunning lack of awareness that people had of the seriousness of the problem, and how easy it was to become a victim of a bed bug infestation.
Talking recently on the issue, she said 'Having bed bugs in your home is not something anyone would want. They can literally make your life a misery, and cause an untold amount of stress. When l realised how much misinformation was being spread and how ignorant most people were about how to get rid of bed bugs, l knew l had to do something to help stop the incredible spread of these insects throughout our country'
What Jenny did was set up a website to help educate people by providing free information and solutions for victims of the problem. But, more importantly, she wants to help spread awareness, as she believes that unless we are vigilent and take preventitive measures, we have no hope of ever solving the problem.
