Hermitage, PA (PressExposure) December 08, 2010 -- Once in a blue moon, true love can come your way. We who have experienced it are very fortunate to come into contact with it. This remarkable kind of love came to Helen McManus. All too soon, her beloved husband, Jim was suddenly taken away. He was an ex-Marine, and in all that I have heard about him, a great man. Death of a spouse is a most difficult anguish to endure. The feelings of lost love can be devastating.
Published by 'Publishing with Passion,' 'Widowed Dreams,' is an incredibly well thought out and written book. We follow the stages of grieving, coping, and finally healing. Helen's feelings are immersed into her charismatic writing. Her poetic talent will astound any reader. Her flow and poetic grace will keep you turning the pages. Of course, you will need tissues handy.
There is superb graphic artwork in 'Widowed Dreams' that is elegantly displayed and created by McManus herself. She also designed her own cover for the front and headers for the pages.
There is a 'Foreword' written, and some replies to her poetry in the book, from a dear friend of hers, J. Elwood Davis who goes by a poet name of Raindance. Jim had responded to her emotional poems on a poetry site where they both had been writing. Jim, with the same name as Helen's deceased husband, just happened to be an ex-Marine who had lost his wife. With a feeling of brotherhood for another Marine, Jim set out to console Helen. They have become friends through the years and it was his idea to volunteer and write the beautiful 'Foreword' to this most incredible book.
Learn how one woman has learned to keep on living through heart wrenching anguish. This book is a must read for anyone who has lost someone dear to them. Find out, through one of the most talented writers you will have ever had the privilege of reading, how she accomplished this.
