World of the Innocent, A New Coming of Age Novel by Nadine C. Keels, Has Been Released

Seattle, WA (PressExposure) February 24, 2011 -- Less than two years after the release of her first book of lyrical poetry, author and spoken word artist Nadine C. Keels has released her fourth book and second novel, World of the Innocent.

Twitter.com was abuzz with news about Nadine's recent book reading at Kingdom Family Worship Center International in Kent and her book signing for World of the Innocent at S.A.K.S. Salon in Renton. "There's a whole big world out there, and so much for us to do in it," Nadine shared with her audience at S.A.K.S. "If you're alive and still breathing, it's not too late to see your dreams manifest." Nadine also recounted the setbacks and successes in having her first novel, Yella's Prayers, published, and she presented a spoken word piece from The Song of Nadine, the poetry seen in two of her books (The Song of Nadine and The Order of Things: Song of Nadine) and heard in her spoken word presentations on both local and national platforms.

The following is said of World of the Innocent at http://www.prismaticprospects.wordpress.com:

" 'Jhoi? Are you ready to love this young man?' Prior to the beginning of their unlikely relationship, Jhoi could not imagine having anything to do with a strange guy like Jaxon. Yet, through the counsel of a wise old neighbor, Jhoi will discover the link between navigating intimate friendship and becoming a steward of an era. [This is a] fresh and poignant coming of age novel that will take you on a journey to recapture human innocence."
