Worldwide Charter and Guide Directory Receives Upgrades for 2009

Pocomoke City, MD (PressExposure) February 03, 2009 -- Daybreak Web Designs has announced several important changes to The project, titled "Worldwide Charter and Guide Directory" showcases fishing charters, fishing guides, hunting guides, lodges, boat tours, nature tours, sailing charters, and other outdoor adventures.

New to the site for 2009 is an online store which includes an extensive collection of freshwater and saltwater fish T shirts, sweatshirts, tank tops, raglans, jerseys, golf shirts and other apparel.

The site also received new graphics, including several enhancements to the layout which improves navigation, user friendliness and offers advertisers more options. Several of the changes were performed by an associated design company. "We brought in Crimson Light Web Designs on this project because of their reputation for creating attractive layouts while working within the constraints of a search engine friendly design" explained Craig Banks of Daybreak Web Designs.

Growth of the site during 2008 has given the audience a much more robust selection of service providers. Banks summed up the additions, stating "we had a really strong group of charter boat owners, hunting guides, fishing guides, vacation lodge owners and other small businesses that joined the project during 2008. Visitors to the site are finding more choices and higher quality professionals than ever before."

The project has much more content than a typical business directory where the owner pays to be listed, then hopes a business will get noticed by chance. Instead, businesses using the site have a variety of on site tools, many of which are free to use. The basic directory submission process includes entry level listings which are free. Paid levels of listings are pushed to the top of the category and shown in bold font. Additional paid options can also include text links or banners on the home page.

A powerful site tool for business owners is the article submission feature. This allows the business owner to submit articles which can be extremely effective for a number of reasons. First, this gives the business owner a chance to demonstrate their knowledge and experience in their profession. Writers also can include a backlink to their website, which helps boost their search engine ranks.

Added features for 2009 are a continuation of the overall long term goal of the designer. Banks explained that "the internet has become an essential tool for both service providers and buyers. Both groups need an array of useful features in a single package. Our site stands out by providing those features in an efficient and simple format."

For business owners, the site features a several important tools beyond the standard listings, article submissions and advertising. For businesses that lack a website but want to get listed in the directory, Daybreak Web Designs offers special pricing on custom websites. This service allows every small business to have an online presence and full use of the directory's features.

Fishermen, hunters, boaters and outdoor enthusiasts will find listings for charter boats, guides and other providers, as well as news, articles, and online store and other features.
