South San Francisco, California (PressExposure) November 08, 2011 -- On November 2, XBOSoft, a global leader in software quality improvement services, hosted a seminar in Mountain View examining quality assurance (QA) solutions for mobile software. Attendees learned about the fast-changing environment of mobile QA and discovered how to create a comprehensive strategy to meet immediate and future QA needs.
Philip Lew, CEO of XBOSoft, described best practice methodologies and ways in which attendees could start or continue quality improvements for mobile applications. "It was a good opportunity to learn about XBOSoft's services and about their unique and broad approach. In my opinion, this approach can be very beneficial in meeting the complex needs of mobile application developers, as it can provide valuable insights into much more than simply software bugs," said Gideon Shaanan from Teamwork@Work.
Thomas Hong, Vice President of XBOSoft found the open discussion and Q-and-A segments particularly educational. "It was enlightening to hear some of the challenges that colleagues are facing," he said. "No one has unlimited QA resources, so the questions and answers helped us figure out how to optimize the resources we have instead of testing a little and praying a lot."
"Mobile device and platform proliferation combined with lack of comprehensive test tools make mobile QA challenging," Lew said. "Development teams and CIOs need to know what testing strategies, tools and techniques will help them reach their quality objectives as effectively as possible."
