Ludwigshafen Am Rhein, Germany (PressExposure) July 16, 2009 -- iDTRONICâs new Indus tags are specially designed for Industrial Applications, since it is extremely resistant to any kind of external damage.
The new UHF tags are complete made of Nylon and Epoxy material, which allows the tags to support the physical conditions found in harsh environments, and to resist against abrasion, impact and corrosion. The Indus Tags are designed to easily resist temperatures up to 90Â° C, as well as a wide range of agressive chemicals.
They also have a protective coating which is particularly resistant to humidity, and conforms to the IP 67 norm as well as DIN 40050 / IEC 60529. This assures a very low level of interference from materials such as metal and liquids.
The new generation of Indus Tag are available in three different form factors, as Indus Brig tag (36x126x13mm), designed as a high-end general purpose tag for use in supply chain management solutions including pallet and case tracking. For the same usage, but with other dimensions is the new Indus SQ tag (59x112x7mm) designed. The smallest member of the new UHF Tags series, the Indus Tiny tag (37x60x10mm) is dedicated for all industrial application where size and form factors are important for the daily use.
All Indus tags have been tested at a very reliable reading range of up to 5 meters in a variety of harsh industrial environment. The tags are all EPC Class 1 Gen2 conform, support UHF frequencies from 868-916MHz and are based on ISO 18000-6 standard.
The iDTRONIC Indus tags are particularly well-suited to the identification of goods and objects in industrial, logistics and production applications.
