Keller, TX (PressExposure) October 09, 2009 -- towPartners today announced that it has expanded the offering of its popular towSearch service (www.towsearch.com) by adding a version specifically designed for commercial clients. This version uses the highly developed towPartners database system. National corporations operating fleets with hundreds and thousands of vehicles provided design input for the commercial version. This new version will allow fleet managers to locate service providers when they have a roadside disablement just like the normal towSearch product but with a few additional features. The new version allows each company to store notes, scores and various data for every service provider in the system. Each company can also setup a list of preferred providers unique to their company. These preferred suppliers will be shown to users from that company in a unique manner. In addition to these new features, the commercial version also affords the users additional information about towPartners member companies including information specifically collected from thousands of members for this tool.
The nationâs leading towing and road service provider locator tool, towSearch, is used to power this solution and of the over 25,000 companies are currently listed on towSearch. Dozens and often hundreds of member updates are received daily at towPartners and results of these updates keep the system accurate and make it a reliable resource for all of the commercial fleet customers across the United States.
âThe new commercial version of towSearch represents an advancement for the fleet breakdown industry and an improvement for our members,â stated Jeffrey Godwin, Vice President of towPartners. âThis tool includes input from many fleet managers and those who provide breakdown services to fleets. We are pleased to be able to deliver this tool to assist with their specialized needs and we are proud to bring more value to towPartners membership as we work âFor the Industryâ.â
The towSearch commercial version is offered through limited access and secure accounts. The system continues to offer the 10% discount on services from well over 2,000 companies across the United States. The access is limited at this time to those fleet companies who have been involved in the development process but will expand to other fleets by November 1, 2009. The entire system is also undergoing a facelift which will be completed in the same timeframe.
âThis new service will allow us to expand our offerings to the repair communities and to all clients with commercial needs,â Jeffrey Godwin continued. âIt has the ability to reshape the way companies do business and how their suppliers gain from providing these tools to customers. There are many advancements planned for this tool in the coming year.â
The towSearch directory of companies is just the beginning of the commercial version which also allows users to build service records including information on purchase orders, repair shops used, price quotes, towing information and much more.
The new functionality has been online and operational for several weeks while live calls have been used for testing and while members continued to update their profile information specific to this tool. The full launch will be a gradual one and towPartners is accepting requests for information from fleets who are interested in the next release phase which will allow more broad access to the new commercial version and its improved functionality.
