(www.GAORFID.com) has released its High Frequency (HF) Fixed RFID Reader/Writer, a versatile reader/writer which is capable of reading multiple tags from a long range and is designed for smart checkout. The small form factor of this unit provides for easy installation, thus the reader is a suitable hardware that can be integrated into laundry management, document tracing and Point of Sale (POS) systems where multi-tag reading for long lines is required. The portable device is well-designed for industrial and harsh outdoor environments such as field services, direct store delivery, warehouse or manufacturing applications.

This HF fixed RFID reader/writer, model 233003, conforms to the ISO 11784/5 standard and can read all FDX-B and HDX RFID transponders compliant with ISO 15693 with an ensured good read range. The RFID reader/writer is finished with a rugged industry standard housing yet remains light-weight and reasonably sized, thus it allows optimum performance even in harsh environments. It has an IP66 protection rating allowing for robust operation. Furthermore, this optimized reader supplies a clock synchronization enabling applications where several readers or antennae are used in close proximity.
