Lakewood, CO (PressExposure) February 23, 2011 -- ACT Conferencing today issued a survey that focuses on usage trends related to unified communications (UC). As the company prepares to unveil its UC offering in the coming months that is a direct result of its customers' input, ACT plans to gain a broader understanding of global UC trends to ensure its longer-term development plans also address the needs of prospective customers. To complete the survey, go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/actucsurvey.
Several of ACT's customers have been testing the company's UC offering for weeks to identify strengths and areas for improvement. With their involvement, the company has determined the short-term strategic direction of its new offering, and ACT is committed to ensuring its customers continue to be actively involved in the development process.
"ACT is all about customer service so our UC offering is a direct result of what our global customer base has told us they need," said Gary Iles, senior director of strategy and product management, ACT Conferencing. "Now, as we consider the direction of our UC offering further down the road, we want to gather more expansive research to understand if new trends are emerging and to be sure we are also capturing the needs of prospective customers. This is part of our due diligence process. It gives companies a voice to tell us where they are with their UC implementation and what they really want from their UC provider."
ACT aims to share the results of this survey by the end of this quarter.
