A Special Thank You to All The Volunteers, Coaches, Officials, and High Schools Teams That Supported the 4th Annual Robert Shumake Scholarship Relays

Southfield, MI (PressExposure) February 06, 2009 -- Track and field teams from high schools all over the world will come to compete in Detroit for the 5th Annual Robert S. Shumake Scholarship Relays on April 25, 2009. Among the participants in this historic event will be a team from the Bahamas.

The Shumake Family Foundation would like to announce and congratulate the following 2008 Robert Shumake Family Foundation Scholarship Recipients: Rebecca Page is attending Central State College; she graduated from the Detroit Institute of Arts and Science High School in Detroit, MI.

Chinedum Umachi is attending Massachusetts Institute of Technology; he graduated from Renaissance High School in Detroit, MI.

Brittany Mrozek is attending Eastern Michigan University she graduated from Adlai Stevenson High School in Livonia, MI.

Damacious White is attending Aquinas College; he graduated from Berkley High School in Berkley, MI.

Jazmine Davenport is attending Bowling Green University; she graduated from Southfield High School in Southfield, MI.
