Accent on Business to Offer Monthly Communication Skills Workshops

Indianapolis, IN (PressExposure) November 20, 2006 -- (INDIANAPOLIS, IN. November 20, 2006) – Accent on Business announced today they will be offering two half-day communication skills workshops. Taught by professional voice and speech coach Ellen Dunnigan, the two programs are “Make Your Mark with the 60 Second Commercial” and “Neurolinguistic Programming: Using NLP for Business Success”.

Each half-day workshop will be offered on a monthly basis beginning in December. “Make Your Mark with the 60 Second Commercial” will run the first Monday of each month from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. “Neurolinguistic Programming: Using NLP for Business Success” will run the first Tuesday of each month from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Both classes will be held at the AmeriCenter Conference Room located at 11805 North Pennsylvania Street in Carmel.

Program Content: Make Your Mark in 60 Seconds

• Participants will discuss what potential customers need to hear in an introduction. • Learn how to make the message “stick” when introducing themselves and their product/company at networking events.

Program Content: “Neurolinguistic Programming: Using NLP for Business Success”

• NLP explores deepening the relationships between people based upon the words we choose to use when communicating. Participants will learn how to identify and use neurolinguistic words in building business relationships. • Learn how to use NLP techniques to improve sales, marketing and other business communication situations.
