Altay Grain Processor PAVA Marks the 10th Anniversary

Barnaul, Russian Federation (PressExposure) September 18, 2009 -- Last week, PAVA - the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East - marked its 10th anniversary. Over 10 years, the company has won loyalty of Russian bakers and developed successful activities abroad. The company's achievements are recognized by the awards, received by PAVA from Ministry of Economic Development ("Leading Exporter of the Industry") and Ministry of Industry and Trade ("The most rapidly developing exporter of the industry") along with positive customer feedback from 16 countries.

PAVA made some interesting launches in its anniversary year, including exclusive wheat flour "Zhitnitsa" and wheat germ oil along with oatmeal flour and macaroni semolina.

The company management gives a positive overall estimate to the past 10 years. PAVA has demonstrated commitment to innovation, increased domestic and global presence, and strong financial performance even in uncertain times. The strategic move to establish a vertical agribusiness has led to building up solid land bank and active development of own crop production. PAVA started working on a project for deep wheat processing to add to traditional milling operations.

PAVA is one of the major grain processors in Russia. The company represents a 3% share of the national flour market. Recently PAVA has developed a new strategy - creation of a vertically integrated agroindustrial holding. It is based on implementation of 2 projects: RAD (agricultural business operations) and Grainvest (deep grain processing), consolidated under GlobalAgro structure.
