Artist in Philippines Speaks Out About Serial Killer Comic Book

La Verne, CA (PressExposure) January 08, 2009 -- The online blogger OYE! shares an exclusive interview with Filipino artist Mannie Abeleda. In it he talks about his work in the second volume of the true crime series “Family Bones”. Mannie is well known for his art in horror comic books such as "Trailer Park Of Terror" and "Innocent". He's been working in Philippines on comic book art since the late 90's, mostly independent publishers.

“Family Bones” is the comic book series about Ray and Faye Copeland, the elderly serial killers from Missouri. It's written by Shawn Granger, the great nephew of the couple. The Copelands are the oldest US couple convicted of serial killing and sentenced to death. The story follows their nephew over the course of one hot summer on the family farm. Volume 1 of "Family Bones" collects chapters 1-5, volume 2 will finish off with 6-10.
