Worthing, United Kingdom (PressExposure) March 11, 2009 -- About to enter its third successful year, Sussex Local magazine released its fourth and latest edition in March 2009, covering 5,000 homes in Arundel and the surrounding villages.
This adds to the three existing West Sussex editions which cover Storrington, Pulborough and Findon, and brings the total monthly distribution for all four titles to over 20,000 homes.
The magazines feature local news, events and articles plus competitions with regular chances to win valuable prizes such as Champneys Spa days, Gliding lessons, fashion makeovers and even a new front door!
Founder Kris Thomas commented "We have wanted to move into Arundel for quite a while as we saw that it was not being served with a monthly community magazine. As our distribution goes out as far as Amberley, this adjoined the southernmost borders of our Pulborough and Storrington editions, so it made a lot of sense. Our existing advertisers have certainly appreciated the increased coverage area" she adds.
Advertisers are able to pick and choose the editions or, alternatively, obtain blanket coverage by appearing in all four editions. "Flexibility is the key for advertisers" says Kris. "If an advertiser wishes to get pinpoint targeting to 5,000 homes in a specific area, we are really the only way of their achieving this as no-one else covers the areas as thoroughly as we do. Our display advertising starts at just £29 for an eighth page, so it is much cheaper than doing a leaflet drop with Royal Mail or a solus distributor, which is the only other way of getting similar coverage. If you like leaflets, we will take up to three inserts in each edition for just £40 a thousand" she adds.
The April edition is due to appear through letterboxes towards the end of March and Kris is looking forward to seeing the reaction. "Both advertisers and readers have contacted me following the first Arundel edition and have told me how much they enjoyed the first issue. We certainly had a lot of entries for the inaugural competition!"
