Astra S-Nesting - True Shape Nesting and Release of NC Data for CNC Cutting Machines

Astra S-Nesting is intended for true shape nesting and cutting of metal, fabric, leather, wood, stone and other sheet materials. The main purpose of the cutting program is to generate NC data for CNC cutting tools: laser cutters, plasma cutters and milling cutters, as well as other cutting machines. The software can also be used for manual cutting.

The following features of Astra S-Nesting software were specifically designed to quickly solve true shape nesting tasks and enable users to: - Import parts in the DXF format - Automatically nest parts and manually edit layouts - Automatically calculate and manually edit the cutting path (the path of the cutting tool and processing parameters) - Generate NC data for CNC cutting machines in ISO (G-codes) and ESSI formats - Export the nesting results into the DXF format for passing them to CNC machines - Print reports and export layouts into the DXF format.

The new features available in Astra S-Nesting software enable you to instantly calculate the optimal cutting path. Prior to starting the calculation, you can define the part processing parameters and later modify them in the manual editing mode: methods of cutting into internal and external cutouts, cutting direction, location of the punch point, location of necks and bridges between parts, etc.

A configurable post-processor can be adjusted for different CNC types and allows you to modify the output accuracy, block numeration and command codes. This ability of the program ensures successful generation of NC data for various types of CNC cutting machines.
