Celebrity Walk for Charity will display the latest fall 2014 looks, showcasing local and national celebrities. Expect to see number of NFL and NBA athletes strut the runway! Celebrity Walk for Charity will be held Friday, July 26, from 7pm-11pm, at the historic and illustrious 200 Peachtree in the heart of Atlanta.
Celebrity Walk for Charity will open with a kids' production of "Rip the Runway," and will close with an elegant grand finale of GQ's "Men of Style." Style is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of GQ Magazine. Atlanta International Fashion Week will highlight classic and of-the-moment men's styles with fashion guru and NFL Hall-of-Famer Shannon Sharpe. During "Rip the Runway, Kids' Edition," kids will strut the runway and produce their version of a fashion runway showcase. Featured designers include Ralph Lauren, Nike, Guess, DKNY and Lil' Wayne's Trukfit. Young superstar Mishon, will grace the stage with a live performance.
Celebrity Walk for Charity's goal is to inspire both men and women to take action to protect their health and to care for the health of others. Atlanta International Fashion Week will roll out the red carpet for some of today's most celebrated men and women, donning catwalk favorites from America's top designers, such as Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren and Cole Haan. Our purpose is to support AIDS education and awareness.
200 Peachtree is the ideal location for AIFW's Celebrity Walk for Charity. Located on Peachtree Street in the heart of downtown, attached to the Westin Peachtree Plaza and across the street from the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta, 200 Peachtree is a distinguished historic landmark and is heralded for its grandeur and magnificence. Built in 1927 on a vein of granite from Stone Mountain, the building opened as Davison's department store and was renovated in the 1980s for Macy's. Today, 200 Peachtree still serves as an impressive facility that is host to a variety of clients and events.
