Lancaster, PA (PressExposure) January 26, 2009 -- Mary Jane McKittrick, author, producer and publisher of the Boomer and Halley "Little Lessons. Big Results." (tm) book series and owner of Tuxedo Cat Productions, Inc., and J. Glenn Ebersole, Founder & Chief Executive of The Renaissance Group ⢠in Lancaster, PA announce the selection of J. Glenn Ebersole as Public Relations Agent for the Boomer and Halley children's books.
Mary Jane McKittrick noted that she was seriously looking to add a Public Relations Agent to help facilitate the launch of her children's books and to work with her team to develop the Boomer and Halley intellectual property. So she began her search and recently found J. Glenn Ebersole. McKittrick commented "The first time we spoke, I knew Glenn was the right person to represent this project. He and I share the same vision for the Little Lessons. Big Results. (tm) series of books starring Boomer and Halley. Each book showcases life lessons like: manners, sportsmanship, kindness and caring, in a humorous, non- violent way. As the adopted "children" of Harold Edna Sanders - Boomer and Halley's adventures in learning harken back to an era when teaching basic values was integral to everyday life. Glenn understands the value of the message and has creative ideas for marketing this multi-media venture."
When notified by Mary Jane McKittrick that he had been selected, Ebersole said, "After talking with Mary Jane and reading her first two Boomer and Halley books, I knew I had found a kindred spirit and a very exciting project to promote life lessons and core values to children. It is an absolutely awesome feeling to be selected to work with Mary Jane and her team. I have the utmost admiration and respect for what she has already developed with her first two books and recognize her tremendous vision and mission related to making a difference in the lives of children and their families with her concepts of teaching values through Boomerang, the Australian Shepherd, and Halley's Comet, a silver streak of a cat."
Ms. McKittrick, a Los Angeles, California native, has enjoyed a successful career in entertainment TV, news and corporate communications. Living on a historic horse farm in North Carolina, Mary Jane began to envision children's stories about human kindness by recognizing the special ability animals have to impart life lessons. She has completed her first two books in a 10-book series about Boomer and Halley and they are now available at boomerandhalley.com and on Amazon.
Tuxedo Cat Productions, Inc. is owned by Mary Jane and produces entertaining and educational (edutainment) stories featuring a blended family of cartoon humans and animals to teach basic values.
