Author Publishes First Book in Racy New E-book Series

New York, NY (PressExposure) September 08, 2014 -- Author, Kesi St. Omer has released the first book in the racy new Alpha series, titled Sinderella (The Alpha Series Book 1). The Alpha series is the provocative story of an aspiring Hispanic actress that takes the reader into a world of alcoholism, love, racism and betrayal. Alpha Rodriguez is born with the proverbial silver spoon in her mouth that she quickly discards in pursuit of her dreams. Born into a wealthy family, Alpha embarks on her own into a world she's only seen in her dreams. Against the wishes of her family she follows her heart as she chases love in all the wrong places and fame in all the wrong ways.

Alpha's story is very revealing in today's society where racism is prevents many women of color from getting leading roles. Actresses like Jennifer Lopez had parents that, like Alpha, were strongly against her embarking on a career as an entertainer. With the recent Twitter scandals and stars going naked in almost every headline, Alpha's story shows an inside perspective of how stars get sucked into a world as everyday people.

The author, Kesi St. Omer, is a native of St. Lucia, and currently enrolled at NYU. Working alone as an independent author Kesi worked on her novel diligently each day to develop her characters. Kesi was inspired to tell the story of Alpha after being immersed in the New York social scene where many are dying to be famous. She developed her novel through interacting with aspiring actresses with their combined life experiences to create the fictional character of Alpha while she was living in New York. Each scene was created as she walked through New York and implemented the process of telling the tale of the imaginary leading lady Alpha. Alpha's story echoes throughout the streets of New York. Intertwined in the experience of Alpha is the impact of social media in modern society. The e-book is available for purchase on for readers that have the Kindle device or app.
