Dubai, Angola (PressExposure) May 13, 2013 -- A high-powered panel of experts will make presentations and conduct interactive discussions at this year's Au-tomechanika Academy, the popular conference programme held alongside Automechanika Dubai.
Touching on key issues that affect the international automotive aftermarket, exploring current market scenarios and discussing future developments and trends, the packed programme has already attracted an overwhelming response from regional delegates.

Scheduled to run on the second and third days of Automechanika Dubai 2013 - Wednesday and Thursday, June 12th and 13th - the programme will kick off with an overview of the market including the latest figures on Dubai's automotive aftermarket trade from the Department of Statistics of Dubai Customs. Last year's figures indicated that Dubai's direct aftermarket trade in Q1 of 2012 had registered an increase of 11% over the same period the previous year. Complete figures for 2012 will be revealed as well as insight into Q1 2013.
This will be followed by the release of a white paper delivered by research provider Frost & Sullivan. The white paper will include a detailed breakdown of the regional aftermarket scenario including key market figures for the GCC countries.
Other presentations at the Academy will include the advantages of Remanufacturing by Dil Kulatham from Car-done, Oweis Zahran from OWS Auto Parts and Oscar Villafranca from Remaned, covering the Parts & Sys-tems topic. Improving efficiency in Damage Repair will be the focus in the Repair & Maintenance section, with presentations being made by Clive Grey of DuPont.
Salvatore Coniglio from Liqui Moly and Jim Martin from Total Resource International will make the presenta-tions in the Service Station & Car Wash section, where the focus will be on alternative green fuels.
Covering Tyres & Batteries will be Surender Singh Kandhari, Chairman of Al Dobowi, V. Krishna Ram of Emrald Middle East who will speak on new trends and technology, while in the Accessories & Tuning section, the discussions will be focused on Responsible Performance Enhancing Techniques. The speakers will be Georges Mourad of MAHLE International and Alexander Borla of Borla Exhaust.
The 11th edition of the region's premier international trade gathering for the automotive aftermarket, Auto-mechanika Dubai 2013, is set for a record run this year. Extending across 11 halls at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Automechanika Dubai is expected to be at least 15 percent larger than the previous edition, which attracted 20,715 trade visitors and key influencers from 120 countries and featured 1,324 exhibitors from 56 countries.
Automechanika Dubai is part of 12 global Automechanika fairs organised by Messe Frankfurt across Asia, Eu-rope, North America, South America and Africa. The exhibition will showcase automotive components, acces-sories, garage equipment as well as refuelling and car washing equipment and machinery. The show is divided into 5 key sections: Parts & Systems, Repair & Maintenance, Tyres & Batteries, Service Station & Car Wash and Accessories & Tuning.
