Award-Winning Author Dick C Waters Releases Next Novel

Phoenix, AZ (PressExposure) December 18, 2012 -- Dick C Waters recently released Branded for Murder, a serial-killer mystery/thriller. It is available, along with two other novels in the Scott Tucker series, in electronic format through

In Branded for Murder, Scott Tucker is the protagonist and is trying to finish his Harvard education. His life changes when he gets a call that his cousin was one of the New England Strangler's victims. He joins the newly created task force to help find her killer. His life changes again when he meets the love of his life the day President Kennedy is assassinated. He becomes the only thing between her and the killer.

Although Branded for Murder is a work of fiction, the real-life panic created by the Boston Strangler during the early 60's, was a perfect foundation to create a serial-killer novel. This year was the 50th anniversary of the Boston Strangler's rampage.

Since becoming a full time author in 2009, Waters has published three novels in the Scott Tucker series. Although Branded for Murder is the most recent publication, it is really the first book in the series. All three novels deal with serial killers. Serial Separation is the second novel and finds Scott trying to find the killer, or killers, of young men he played hockey with. The third novel, Scent of Gardenia, has four different investigations, including Scott's trying to find why rich young men and their yachts are going missing in Bermuda. The fourth novel in the series, Fragrance of Revenge, will be available in early 2013.
