Peoria, Arizona (PressExposure) August 08, 2013 -- Dick Waters, who has won sixteen awards for his Flash Fiction writing over a twelve-month period, released his two new novels in July. Fragrance of Revenge is the fourth novel in his Scott Tucker series.
Waters' novels are set mostly in New England during the 60's. Although the first two novels are classified as mystery novels, all of the novels can be considered thriller/suspense. The first novel is based on the real-life Boston Strangler who terrorized most of New England during the early 60's. The serial-killer theme is common in all of his novels, but the last four are all women killing men.
Dick did something different with the last two novels, he published these with the same story line, but Foreplay for Murder he classified as erotica. When asked why two different versions, he answered he wanted to appeal to the readers who liked the '50 Shades of Grey' trilogy. He believes his story line has more plot than that series, but wants readers to be the judge. His stated objective is to have a best-selling novel, but without readers, there is little chance. Foreplay for Murder is the lure he's casting into the ocean of novels to bring attention to his.
Should the strategy work, he plans to take the first three novels and spice them up to appeal to that new reader group.
The first three novels are; Branded for Murder, Serial Separation and Scent of Gardenia. Currently all five novels are available in eBook format on Amazon. By September he plans to have all five available in print format on Amazon.
When asked about the 'Naked' author thing, he just smiled and said he would share with his readers when the time is right.
Eleven of his Flash Fiction winning entries, along with 37 other authors, have been published in Indies Unlimited's Flash Fiction Anthology 2012. That book is also available in eBook as well as print format on Amazon.
