Los Angeles, CA (PressExposure) February 03, 2011 -- Ladies' casual clothing and sportswear manufacturer Barbara Lesser has announced that she will be adding sweaters to her next cold-weather line.
Barbara Lesser Clothing has announced that their Fall 2011 Collection will include a line of sweaters. The items will be available online and in stores in August and September of this year.
"As a sweater designer at the beginning of my career, I am very excited about this project," said Barbara Lesser.
The line will include a variety of knitwear shapes, including ponchos, tunics, vests, cowls, capes and cocoon cardigans. All of the sweaters will be manufactured at a domestic sweater factory in Los Angeles, thereby adhering to Barbara's determination to keep garments Made in America. Lesser says they plan to offer colors like magenta, hickory, lemon balm, fig, emperor blue, charcoal and onyx
The sweater collection is going to be made from bamboo yarn, which is a sustainable fiber known for its eco-conscious properties. Lesser has always maintained a progressive attitude toward the environment: in the 1990s, Lesser was one of the first to use organic cotton in her garments.
Lesser says the line of sweaters will co-ordinate with consumers' existing Barbara Lesser items (such as women's tops) and with the rest of the Fall 2011 Collection, which will include cotton knit tops, fleece and stretch-woven pants. They expected delivery date for stores is July 30th, 2011.
