The DataBus Cable line consists of PLTC/ITC-ER, PLTC and TC-ER versions that are specially designed to meet Fieldbus specification IEC 61158.2 (ISA/SP-50). Fieldbus is an all-digital, serial, two way communications protocol that standardizes the interconnection of field devices at a communications rate of 31.25 kilobytes per second (Kb/s).

Extended temperature ratings to -400C Cold Bend (per UL 1581), and CMX rating for outdoor use as well as direct burial rating. IEEE 1202/383. IEC 60332-3-24 (Cat C).
