London, United Kingdom (PressExposure) October 21, 2009 -- At the prestigious APMP award dinners held in London, Bid Perfect were announced as the recipient of the inaugural Community Award. This award is given in recognition of work that contributes significantly to business in the community.
Bid Perfect specialises in bids, tenders and proposals training, writing and management.
For two years, Bid Perfect has been running low-cost accessible Bids and Tenders Skills Workshops for SME companies in Bradford and Yorkshire via the Bradford Kickstart programme. Many companies have attended the course and have gone on to win bids as a result of the techniques they have learned. The course especially targets small start-ups, ethnic minority companies and those working in areas of regeneration.
Marcus Eden-Ellis, MD and Founder of Bid Perfect commented, "We are delighted to be recognised by the APMP. They understand the nature of the work we do in this area, which is not about making large consultancy fees but is more concerned with giving something back. We will continue with this project for as long as we are invited to do so."
Further details of the Kickstart programme and the full range of Bid Perfect business services can be viewed on their web site.
