Book Bites for Kids: Interview with Dawn Menge and Heath Rhoades - Thurs, Dec 9 at 2 pm CDT

Kansas City, MO (PressExposure) December 09, 2010 -- Book Bites for Kids, hosted by Suzanne Lieurance is a delightful way to interact with children's book authors, illustrators, publishers, editors, and publicists to learn more about the world of children’s writing and publishing.

We are pleased to invite you to tune in on Thurs, Dec 9 at 2 pm CDT, at to meet Dawn Menge and Heath Rhoades as they discuss their new book Queen Vernita Meets Sir Heathy Bean.

Dawn Menge holds a Bachelors Degree from Washington State University specializing in Human Development. She also holds a Clear Credential and Masters in Special Education from California State University San Bernardino. She is currently entering the dissertation phase of her PhD program at Capella University. Menge’s award winning educational picture book series includes; Queen Vernita’s Visitors, Queen Vernita visits the Blue Ice Mountain and Queen Vernita Meets Sir HeathyBean the Astronomer.

Heath Rhoades Currently sits as the astronomy team lead at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s Table Mountain Optical Observatory, located high in California’s San Gabriel Mountains. Prior to this research effort, Heath sat as Director of technology for a K-12 school district in southern California. A full time graduate student, Heath is also currently preparing to enter the dissertation phase of a PhD. program with Capella University, specializing in information technology.
