Toluca Lake, California (PressExposure) February 15, 2009 -- PacAtlantic Pictures announced today that it has Burt Reynolds has agreed to star in its production of the dramedy "A FONDER HEART."
Burt Reynolds has endured as a movie star of for decades, starting off in TV westerns in the 1960s. He then became popular as a male sex symbol by posing nearly naked for Cosmopolitan magazine. He has starred in movies as rugged action figure and a Southern "good old boy."
His film achievements include "Smokey and the Bandit," "Semi-Tough," "Cannonball Run," and "Sharky's Machine," which he also directed. He starred with Dolly Parton in "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas." He also starred in the TV show "Evening Shade," for which he won an Emmy. Reynolds won a nomination as best supporting actor for "Boogie Nights."
MGM has given Executive Producer James D. Brubaker & A-List Feature Films a letter (LOI) of Distribution for, "A FONDER HEART."
PacAtlantic Pictures has a recent string of successful films, including "Belly of the Beast," "Scouts Honor," and "An American Reunion." In addition to "A FONDER HEART," PacAtlantic has several other films in production, including "The Last Guy on Earth," and "Soulmates."
