Highly skilled machine operators work on a 24 hour, 7 days a week basis, using multi-functional machines which cover a variety of 3 axis to 5 axis horizontal boring as well as vertical boring and milling machines.

Using EdgeCam software linked to the machining centres, Mayflower’s professional programmers can provide a computer-aided programming facility, where necessary which provides accurate data for cutting and forming the specific item of equipment. Whether it is a client’s own design or the work of one of their own professional designers, Mayflower will be able to machine the metal fabrications and castings into the required form.

Working as a ‘one stop shop’, the Mayflower Engineering teams can successfully and cost effectively design, produce and manage a variety of projects, working extensively with normal ferrous and non-ferrous metals, stainless steels, cast iron, aluminium and a range of special steels.
