Car Hire in 2010 Book Early

Belfast, United Kingdom (PressExposure) November 13, 2009 -- The credit crunch in 2009 had a dramatic effect on the price of car rental in many major holiday destinations including Spain , Portugal and Turkey. With Banks refusing credit many rental companies were unable to renew their fleet leaving a shortage of cars which resulted in spiraling prices in 2009 and will continue into 2010.

Within the travel industry some things do get cheaper if left to the last minute this is not true of car rental and if you are after a bargain in 2010 we advise to book early some companies like will allow you cancel and amend at no charge so if you have nothing to loose and all to gain by booking early.

If possible book paying a deposit with balance on arrival which will reduce your risk should the company go bust in the interim as did happen with a few on line brokers in 2009.

Use Goggle along with one of the comparative web site to find the best deal for your car rental in 2010, please note comparative sites do not offer a full comparison so better deals are to be had if you do a little more digging with BING or Yahoo. When doing your research always read the supplier's terms and conditions and add in any extras as the cost can vary from supplier to supplier. For example some car rental suppliers will offer free additional drivers and others will charge a daily rate.

So happy searchingand remember do book early especially if you are after an MVP or that fancy sports car.
