Cranston, RI (PressExposure) January 13, 2012 -- The new Model 9084 RJ45 A/B Cat 5e Switch from Electro Standards Laboratories has convenient DIN rail mounting for use in process control systems and also features a monitor port to allow position feedback. This manually operated keylock switch requires no power and can be easily integrated as a system component by utilizing the DIN rail mounting bracket on its rear panel.
This A/B Switcher allows the sharing of one RJ45 device among two others with a keylock on front panel to securely control switch position. The key can only be removed from the keylock when it is in the "A" position. The unit also features a monitor port using a barrier strip on the bottom panel of the unit to allows position feedback for the "B" position via short or closed circuit on 2 screw terminals mounted next to the RJ45 ports. A grounding screw is also mounted on the front panel.
The Model 9084 also switches all 8 leads of the RJ45 interface and is certified for Cat5e compliance. This compact data switch is packaged in a shielded aluminum enclosure with DIN rail bracket on rear panel. The dimensions of the DIN Rail Mount Package are 1.75"W x 4.25"H x 6.0"D.
