Omaha, Nebraska (PressExposure) May 23, 2011 -- Anna Verhoeff recently joined the coaching staff at Coach 2 Win as a Career Development and Life Coach. With over 20 years of business management experience and a deep-seated desire to help people succeed and excel, Coach Anna helps people discover their passions in life and guides them to a fulfilling career and enriched life doing what they love to do. According to Coach Anna, career and life coaching is different from other disciplines in that it emphasizes future outcomes. "Some people confuse coaching with counseling, but really coaching looks at moving forward by uncovering strengths and passions, and eliminating obstacles hindering forward momentum. A coach helps guide the process, but the individual makes these discoveries."
Anna stays current in the business world by also serving in a variety of roles including managing an Information Systems department, Business Consultant and Trainer. Drawing upon her background in the public and private sectors and wide range of experiences, Coach Anna understands how difficult it can be to make career or life changes. Because of this, she has the knack for helping others uncover their true passions in life. "I have been through many transitions in my own personal and professional life, and I certainly realize how difficult and even daunting it can be to make a major life change. Getting that outside guidance from someone like a coach can certainly make a difference in really figuring out who you are - I know because I had a life coach help me in my own career transition process."
Anna received her Masters of Arts in Management (MAM) with an emphasis in Leadership and her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business and Human Relations both from Doane College in Lincoln, Nebraska. Additionally, she holds a Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation and has been involved with the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) and the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) where she served in various board positions.
Coach Anna can provide help with any major life transition or change, but focuses mainly on career issues such as charting career courses and plans, re-entering the workforce, changing careers, and beginning your career, and professional growth and development in your current career. She also provides services for businesses such as business retention, performance management, and leadership training. No matter what the issue, Coach Anna is committed to providing an atmosphere where an individual can be honest, share any concerns and fears, and get clear and meaningful feedback.
