Concert for Human Rights

Tampa, Florida (PressExposure) July 10, 2009 -- For July 16th 2009 Youth for Human Rights of Tampa Bay and Jessy Leros, producer and performing artist, are joining forces in a “Concert for Human Rights” in Terra Sur Café at 8:00 pm.

“I believe that an artist’s most valuable asset is his freedom of expression, I can relate to that, and if I can inspire others and increase awareness of this fundamental human right and motivate today’s youth in our society to protect it, then I know I’ve truly given back” Jessy Leros said.

Human Rights abuses are rampant in every part of the world and the Youth for Human Rights of Tampa Bay work to educate people on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights so they become valuable advocates for tolerance and peace.

In occasion of the concert the Peruvian restaurant will become theater for the entire night for Jessy’s own style of music, called "World Pop", a hybrid that combines elements of the international sound of World Music and mainstream Pop/Rock.

Tickets are $15 and the proceeds will benefit the Youth for Human Rights of Tampa Bay.
