Cop Out

Lincoln, Nebraska (PressExposure) February 16, 2007 -- Iuniverse, the publisher, and Robert L. Davis, the author, wish to announce the release of COP OUT. COP OUT is a true story of how a former police officer became a fugitive for 22 years, while evading law enforcement, and his eventual surrender.

The book goes into great detail about his life in various forests, woods, and other locations. It speaks of a life of banishment, loss of family and career. The author expounds about surviving in the wild, consuming wild animals, and surviving the outdoor elements. He elaborates about many encounters while traveling through various places in the United States and Canada.

The foreword is written by well known priest Father George Clements of Chicago, former pastor of Holy Angels Church. A major motion picture was made about his life titled, The Father George Clements Story. The actors were Lou Gossett jr., Malcolm Jamal Warner, and Carroll O' Conner.

The book timeline is from 1979 , the year he became a fugitive, until 2001, the year he surrendered.
