Atlanta, GA (PressExposure) December 15, 2009 -- World Football Insider will provide on-the-scene coverage as England 2018 unveils its candidate cities, Wednesday, Dec. 16.
WFIâs European correspondent James Corbett will report from the QE2 Conference Center in London where the bid team will select the cities to be included in Englandâs submission to FIFA in May 2010.
England 2018 will narrow down its host city list from 15 applicants: Birmingham, Bristol, Derby, Hull, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, NewcastleGateshead, Nottingham, Plymouth, Sheffield and Sunderland.
âThe candidate cities are included in the bid book, so it is an interesting development in the race to win the 2018 FIFA World Cup bid,â WFI editor Mark Bisson said.
