She graduated in 1993 from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science where she majored in Corporate Communications and Elementary Education. Her mother was a top performing real estate agent and her husband Tony has been the Division President of Sales and Business Development of Biltmore Homes since 2000. She acquired her North Carolina Real Estate Sales Agent License in 1997 followed by her North Carolina Real Estate Broker License in 2000. Her achievements include the Silver Marketing Specialist MAME (Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence) award to her in 2002 by the Triangle Sales & Marketing Council and earning the designations of CMP (Certified Marketing Professional), CSP (Certified New Homes Sales Professional), and MIRM (Member, Institute of Residential Marketing) in 2002.
