Dhanalakshmi Bank Eyes Brand Transformation

Uttar Pradesh, India (PressExposure) September 04, 2009 -- Dhanlakshmi Bank is looking forward for a brand transformation initiative which will include changing the logo of the bank and other related branding treatment on all of its branches and customer touch points.

To unveil a new brand identity and retail design, the private sector bank has hired London-based FITCH.

A wing of WPP Group, FITCH is one the leading branding and design consultancies in the world with the clients like Vodafone, Microsoft, Dell, P&G and Nokia, to name a few.

The branding process has nothing to do with the name of the bank, and the name Dhanalakshmi Bank will be retained. The new identity will keep up with the changing market dynamics in context of organizations growth aspirations.

As stated by the bank's Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Sheran Mehra, vivified brand identity while holding back the name along with existing core strengths and values will enable the bank to develop deeper relations with the rapidly growing customer base disseminated across geographies and different age groups.

The brand transformation practice is a strategic part of the bank's customer-centric approach so as to develop a superior value proposition for them.
