London, United Kingdom (PressExposure) June 05, 2009 -- Doherty Associates last night won the coveted IT Support Company of the Year Award 2009 at the Microscope Aces Awards. The awards were held at the Hurlingham Club in Fulham and Doherty was one of six finalists in the running for the award.
According to the judging panel, the criteria for the award were as follows: "Making sure that everything works and keeps running is an increasingly specialised business and the winner of this award will not only be able to show a depth of knowledge of the latest systems but have the ability to support and maintain legacy systems to help customers keep an eye on their budgets."
Doherty was able to prove their technical expertise using recent examples of WAN optimisation and virtualisation projects, which have enabled their clients to save money in a turbulent climate. They also demonstrated their commitment to customer service, having instigated a new client feedback system for 2009. Judges were particularly impressed by the variety of the companies in Doherty's client base.
