Evesham, United Kingdom (PressExposure) February 10, 2012 -- Toolbox is an expert in online retail, specialising in a broad range of everything from hand tools, to builders' tools to power tools, as well as parts, safety equipment and accessories.
This Facebook page extends the company's online presence and continues its proud tradition of embracing the internet. This page provides another mode of engagement between the company and its customers. Now users of the social networking site can 'like' the Toolbox page and keep up to date with the latest news and developments, including all the latest deals and savings. They can even post their own comments on the page's wall.
Scott Morris, Marketing Manager at Toolbox said: "As an internet based company we truly appreciate the power of Facebook. It has a huge user base and, from a business perspective, it's common sense to try and tap into that. We're really excited about the possibility of engaging with such a huge potential audience. We're proud of our tradition of embracing the internet and we already have a great web presence but it definitely wouldn't be complete without being on Facebook. We're always looking for new ways of growing online and we're really looking forward to where this could lead."
The Toolbox Facebook page is extremely accessible and displays information on the company as well as information such as links to the site and contact details. Users can also read reviews from other shoppers via the online consumer review site Trustpilot. This is just another move in Toolbox's constant effort to provide excellent customer service.
Already the page has over 3000 likes and James Hickman, Managing Direct of Toolbox, is pleased with the progression. James said: "Getting onto Facebook was a logical move. We've pioneered online from the very beginning and we understand the impact Facebook has had online. Tapping into this as an extension of what we're doing with our e-commerce site is just common sense."
Toolbox is the sister site of Plumbworld which was an early pioneer of online trading. It was started by James and Anita Hickman in 1999 and was sold to the Grafton Group PLC in December 2006.
Plumbworld now employs more than 50 people in its purpose built warehouse and offices and boasts an astonishing 50 websites selling everything from bathroom vanity units and draper tools to barbecues and electric showers. The business has a turnover in excess of £18 million and is growing at more than 20% year on year.
