Gold Coast, Australia (PressExposure) March 11, 2011 -- EIM Training and RPA Properties have successfully negotiated a deal which has seen EIM relocate their Gold Coast operations from Helensvale to Campus Alpha at Robina, in the building previously occupied by Mackintosh College. The move to the larger premises has also facilitated a major expansion of EIM's training facilities and IT infrastructure, with students now able access their computer resources after hours via a secure login.
Nick Bottrall, Director of EIM Training said that moving EIM's operations to Robina from Helensvale has given more Gold Coast residents access to one of the largest Private Training Colleges on the Coast.
EIM Training has over the last 6 years focused on training local people in Business, Finance, Tourism, Retail and Training and Assessment qualifications and has resisted the lucrative international market which has literally wiped out many of its competitors with international enrolments declining by 90%.
By focusing on the local market, EIM Training has won several Government contracts including the QLD Productivity Placement Program (PPP) for the unemployed and existing workers, QLD User Choice contract, QLD Skilling Solutions RPL (Recognised Prior Learning)contract, the Federal NEIS contract (New Incentive Enterprise Scheme)for unemployed, and the NSW Productivity Placement Program contract for existing workers. Through its Gold Coast and Hervey Bay campuses, EIM Training has over 300 traineeships within local business enterprises.
Campus Alpha, located in the heart of Robina, is an eco friendly building, providing state of the art training facilities designed for a college environment and is accompanied by a student cafeteria. Each training room is individually climate controlled and outfitted with all the training requirements to increase and develop the skills of students training with EIM.
Being situated in Robina allows more of the Gold Coast to access training services with EIM Training, as Robina is fast becoming the new CBD of the Gold Coast with easy access to the motorway (Exit 79). The advantages of moving to Robina are very beneficial for the students, being situated directly across from the Robina Train and Bus Station which is serviced by a walkway from the transit centre. This also provides easy access to public transport, just minutes from the Robina Town Centre, plus ample car parking at the Campus.
