Santiago, Chile (PressExposure) August 07, 2013 -- Following a long process of judgement and elimination, Eco Exploration's judging committee has finally selected the winning logo design contest entry, which was submitted in late January by Chinese national Mr. Cheng Li, whose entry is scheduled to be implemented as the replacement corporate emblem for all media publications as of March 1st 2013.
From the 714 entries received prior to the finalized deadline of February 20th 2013, a short list of 50 entries were selected by the competition judges, and were consequently given scores on a ratings scale of 1-10 based on categories such as overall aesthetic appeal, versatility, originality and significance. Eco Exploration CEO Mr. Andrew Davis said "We have selected a design that we feel represents our progression and development as a company. The rationale behind the logo revamp was always to symbolize our growth as a company and our investments abroad in new areas".
Competition organizer and company Chairman Mr. Hector Romero commented on the entries received saying "Many of the received entries were broadly similar to the existing logo, and were based upon Chilean flag with three sided elements representing the tri-layer process of extraction, production and distribution of minerals".
Ultimately however the winning logo is drastically different from the old design, and Eco Exploration's judges have said this is because they were looking to revamp and modernize the logo, whilst retaining only some of the existing symbolism.
Competition winner Mr. Cheng Li of China said "I hoped, but never thought my entry would win. I'm really happy I have won though, because I can now use the prize money to pay for my graphic design company start-up".
Eco Exploration Limited is an exploration, mining company focused on gold and other precious metals such as copper and silver. Headquartered in Santiago, Chile, Eco Exploration Limited is perfectly situated to explore and mine reserves located between Chile and Argentina.
Eco Exploration's goal is to become a world leader in the exploration and mining of precious metals. All of its projects are located in the highest yielding gold mining districts of South America.
Continued success in exploration and discovery of new reserves is a key component to the overall success of Eco Exploration. The companies past successes have been facilitated by an aggressive strategy of investment in exploration and in acquisitions of early stage properties.
Eco Exploration sees potential to make discoveries and expand its resources at its existing sites, and has accumulated a considerable portfolio of exploration territories in areas we believe to be some of the most prospective South American regions.
The majority of our targeted areas lie within the vicinity of pre-existing mines with proven metals resources, thus creating projects with a high degree of success, and relatively low levels of initial investment required prior to seeing results.
