Chicago, IL (PressExposure) June 12, 2009 -- Financial markets Research company shows 347% growth in March 2009.
Connors Research, a financial markets research company, has been recognized as a high-growth private company by the Entrex Private Company Index (PCI), a benchmarking index that measures the monthly revenue performance of private companies in North America.
The Entrex PCI gave Connors Research its monthly Top Growth Award for March â09, based on the companyâs 347 percent increase in revenue over the same month in 2008.
Connors Research CEO Larry Connors attributed his companyâs off-the-charts growth to increased demand by individual investors for information about the financial markets. Connors Research owns a database of more than 8.4 million equity trades, a unique picture of short-term market behavior.
âOur primary distribution partner, TradingMarkets.com, has seen a significant increase in the demand for our research and products,â said Connors. âThis increase in demand is primarily being fueled by individuals who are actively managing their own money, especially using exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Many of these people outperformed most professional money managers last year and this sector of the market continues to rapidly grow.â
This growth is expected to continue, said Connors, âespecially with the release of our newest book High Probability ETF Trading, along with the release of âThe Machine,â an institutional software product which provides professional traders with live edges updated every 20 seconds throughout the day.â
Stephen H. Watkins, CEO of Entrex, a Chicago-based company that sponsors the PCI Index, said that private companies like Connors Research and others on the Index are growing despite the recession.
The Entrex PCI issues this Top Growth Award to one company a month, and presents a Top Five Growth Company Award each quarter.
